Contest Rules
Any independent garden center in the U.S.A and Canada that sells Proven Winners or Proven Selections plants to non-commercial customers is eligible to participate. Independent garden centers with multiple locations are eligible, provided each location is entered separately.
Awards
- Each garden center will each win US$1,000.
- The winning garden centers will be featured in an issue of Today's Garden Center magazine, with the grand prize winner receiving a visit from an editor of Today’s Garden Center and an in-depth article about their experience with Proven Winners and the contest.
- Every garden center completing the Store-Within-A-Store contest criteria will receive a voucher for US$25 worth of items from the Proven Winners Online Store.
Point Scoring Opportunities - maximum 325
1.
Creativity & Overall Design Quality: 100 points
2.
Completing the 2011 Certified iGarden Training Program: 50 points
3.
Using Proven Winners and/or Proven Selections Branded Containers: 50 points
4.
Using Proven Winners Point-of-Purchase Materials - the more P.O.P. the more points you earn: 50 points
5.
Cross merchandising ColorChoice Flowering Shrubs: 50 points
6.
Cross Merchandising WaterWise, Proven Winners Potting Soil, and Proven Winners Premium Plant Foods: 25 points
Divisions and Awards
1. Division A: 10 employees and less. US $1,000
2. Division B: 11-25 employees. US $1,000
3. Division C: 26-75 employees. US $1,000
4. Division D: 76 employees and more. US $1,000
